Conformation

In the future, SWHCOA plans to host shows and issue SWHCOA show points and championships. However, at this time, most owners of Silken Windhounds who participate in conformation events do so through either the International Silken Windhound Society (ISWS) or United Kennel Club (UKC).

Consequently, SWHCOA is primarily focused on hosting ISWS-sanctioned shows in which dogs compete for ISWS points and championships. SWHCOA also assists with ISWS and UKC shows hosted by other regional clubs.

Silken Windhounds are also eligible to participate in conformation shows with the organizations below:

• National Canine Association (NCA)

• International Kennel Club (ICKC)
